Migratory Bird Walk at Boch Hollow State Nature Preserve

Katrina Schultes, Wildlife Biologist with the Wayne National Forest, will be our guide Saturday May 7 as we hike through a variety of habitat types looking and listening for these long distance migrants, as well as their local cousins. Meet at Boch Hollow office, 7211 Bremen Road, Logan, Ohio, 43138. Our hike will be approximately 3 miles long, so be sure to bring plenty of water and wear sturdy footwear. And don’t forget binoculars and your favorite bird guide! Birders of all ages and skill levels encouraged to attend. Species that may be seen include Yellow-rumped Warbler, Black-and-white Warbler, Black-throated Green Warbler, Pine Warbler, Prairie Warbler, Prairie Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, Baltimore Oriole and Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
