We made it to April! Unfortunately, temperatures for this weekend and next week will remain quite low across the state, with a chance of snow in the forecast for northern Ohio. Our long, steady wildflower season will continue, but blooms will be quite slow to open next week with sunny days few and far between.
One year ago, we were writing our first bloom report of the season. Today, we have over 20 spring wildflowers in bloom across Ohio- what a difference a year makes. While the state experienced temperatures below freezing last weekend, we received no reports of frost damage. The cold quickly moved out, and sunny skies and warm temperatures in the forecast, this weekend will be excellent for spring wildflowers across the state.
